President & Chief Executive Officer
As President & Chief Executive Officer of HIS, Chris is responsible for driving the company vision, overseeing client relationships, and ensuring that all online marketing strategies are executed at the highest level of satisfaction.
Chris joined HIS in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. He bought the company from its founder in 2012 with the mission of providing cutting-edge marketing services to hotels of all sizes to ensure they maximize their marketing spend and bolster their online presence. Prior to HIS, Chris spent nearly a decade at the hotel franchising company Hospitality International, Inc., rising through the ranks and holding numerous titles including Director of Marketing, Director of Information Technology and Ecommerce, and Vice President.
Chris has spent his life in the hospitality industry, starting with working in hotels at a young age while growing up in New Orleans. His experience provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of all sides of hotel operations, running the gamut from small bed and breakfasts to five-star destination resorts. He has earned his designation as a Certified Hospitality Technical Professional (CHTP) and is a member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
When away from the office, Chris spends his time sailing, skiing and watching football (he’s a rabid LSU and New Orleans Saints fan).
